RUNOFF ELECTION
Delia J. Haak has won the 2020 Arkansas Republican Primary for State House of Representatives District 91.
Haak will face Democrat Nick Jones in the general election this November.
The winner will fill the seat currently occupied by Rep. Dan M. Douglas, a Republican. Douglas has served in that position since 2013 but is retiring after this term.
Haak is from Gentry and is an adjunct professor at John Brown University. She teaches courses in graduate business programs and is a former CEO of the Illinois River Watershed Partnership. Her campaign website touts her beliefs in cutting waste in state government, fighting for tax reform, and advocating for school choice.
Haak defeated Scott Richardson of Bentonville in a runoff election.
District 91 includes parts of Benton County, including Gentry, Cave Springs, and parts of Bentonville and Centerton.
